The first form in the coral family, in the softest colour of the collection. Corallo n.1 in light violet is a narrow, tubular crystal vase the vertical growth of sea coral reinterpreted in a pale lavender that shifts between warm lilac and cool amethyst depending on the angle and quality of light. The Corallo series takes the tubular form as its essential language: tall, linear, precise, with an opening calibrated for a single stem or a spare two-stem composition. In light violet, the Corallo n.1 has a quiet but persistent presence the colour is understated enough to sit alongside any interior palette, vivid enough to be noticed. The lead crystal in light violet has a particular translucency at this narrow scale: the colour is most concentrated at the base where the wall of the tube is thickest, graduating to a paler, more luminous quality toward the opening. Hand-blown into original cast iron moulds from a historic Italian glassware workshop active since 1945 each shape comes to life through a single breath.
