Nestled in a former barn amidst the Tuscan hills near Florence, Studio Bojola operates at the intersection of art direction, product and collection design, and interior architecture for both private and retail spaces. Beyond its consultancy services, the studio develops and curates its own brand—Studio Bojola—a line of objects that celebrates Italian craftsmanship and sustainable practices.
Each project is a dialogue between materials and vision, resulting in creations that transcend conventional luxury.
Studio Bojola was founded in 1983 by Luca Bojola, a designer with experience in ceramics, lighting, and luxury design, known for creating timeless pieces in semi-precious stones and spaces that trascended boundries.
Today, the studio is led by Margherita Bojola, whose background in luxury fashion informs a thoughtful, eco-conscious approach to object design. In 2020, she initiated the launch of the Studio Bojola brand—an independent voice created to enhance artisan craftsmanship and give shape to the studio’s aesthetic vision without intermediaries.
Gilberto Benni, the studio’s commercial lead, has nearly 20 years of experience in commerce and a long-standing collaboration with Leica Camera.
The Studio Bojola brand was born from an ongoing dialogue between the studio’s vision and artisanal tradition—the very soul of our collections.
In a world saturated with mass-produced design, our aim is to create objects that are unique—both in form and in making. Each collection reinterprets the relationship between shape and material, giving life to creations that stand the test of time.
We embrace the kind of uniqueness that only imperfection can reveal—traces of the hand, moments of chance.
Our creative process can begin with a material, a handcrafted gesture, a journey, or archival moulds reimagined through contemporary techniques. Each piece in the collection holds a knowledge rooted in tradition, yet constantly reaching toward innovation.
Today, the Studio Bojola brand includes collections in both crystal and ceramic.
