Shipping, Delivery, Customs, Returns & Refunds
Shipping Options
All orders are shipped fully insured.
Shipping is free for domestic orders over €250 and for international orders over €750.
Delivery costs are calculated based on the weight, insurance value, and destination of the order. The Customer will always be informed of the exact shipping cost before completing the purchase.
Available shipping methods:
DHL Express (insured)
Italy: delivery in 1–2 working days
European Union: delivery in 1–3 working days
Rest of the world: delivery in 2–7 working days
DHL Economy (EU only – insured)
Delivery in 2–4 working days
Studio Bojola reserves the right to select the most appropriate courier service in order to ensure safe and reliable delivery.
International Duties, Taxes and Customs
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are determined exclusively by the customs authorities of the destination country and are not included in the product price or shipping cost shown at checkout.
All import duties, taxes, and customs clearance costs are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
By placing an order on this website, the Customer acknowledges and accepts responsibility for any applicable import duties, taxes, and customs procedures required by the destination country.
If the recipient fails to pay the required customs charges, refuses the shipment, or fails to respond to communications from the courier or customs authorities, the shipment may be returned to the sender, abandoned, or destroyed according to the policies of the courier or customs authorities.
In such cases:
- Studio Bojola cannot be held responsible for the outcome of the shipment
- the order will not be eligible for a refund
- any return shipping costs, storage fees, or customs charges may be deducted from the order value
Studio Bojola is not responsible for shipments that are refused, abandoned, or destroyed due to non-payment of customs duties or failure of the recipient to respond to the courier or customs authorities.
Shipping Responsibility
Studio Bojola’s responsibility for the shipment of goods ends once the order has been handed over to the courier and a valid tracking number has been issued.
Studio Bojola cannot be held responsible for:
- delays caused by the courier
- customs clearance procedures
- import duties or taxes
- actions taken by customs authorities
- shipment delays caused by missing documentation or lack of response from the recipient
Once the shipment has been dispatched, the Customer will receive a tracking number that allows monitoring of the delivery status directly with the courier.
Delivery Times
Delivery times start from the moment the Customer receives the shipping confirmation email.
Please allow 1–3 working days from the placement of the order for dispatch.
Orders are processed Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (CET).
Studio Bojola is considered to have fulfilled its shipping obligations when the order has been handed over to the courier within the expected dispatch timeframe.
Delivery Delays
Orders are not automatically cancelled in the event of delayed delivery.
If a delay occurs, Studio Bojola will inform the Customer by email.
If the order has not yet been dispatched at the time the Customer communicates the intention to cancel due to delay, the shipment will be cancelled and the Customer will receive a refund within 14 calendar days.
Inspection of the Delivery
The Customer must inspect the parcel at the moment of delivery.
If the package appears damaged or tampered with, the Customer should:
- make reservations directly with the courier upon delivery
- or refuse the shipment if the damage is evident
Any claims relating to transport damage must be submitted to the courier within 15 working days of delivery, excluding public holidays.
Returns and Refunds
Studio Bojola offers Customers, or recipients of gifts, the possibility to return items according to the following conditions.
Return Conditions
- The Customer has 14 days from the delivery date to exercise the right of withdrawal.
- The Customer may return one or more items from the order.
- Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
- Items returned incomplete, damaged, worn, or soiled will not be accepted for refund.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer.
- If an order originally qualified for free shipping, the original shipping cost may be deducted from the refund.
- Shipping costs paid at checkout are non-refundable.
How to Request a Return
- The Customer must send an email to studio@bojola.com within 14 days of receiving the order requesting a return or exchange.
- Studio Bojola will provide the return shipping address and instructions.
- The Customer must ship the item to the provided return address.
- Once the item has been received and inspected, the Customer will receive an email confirming the refund processing.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase (credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal).
