The Costoluto ring takes its shape from the furrows that ridge a fruit as it ripens — the same fluted lines that mark the costoluto tomato it's named after. A domed band wrapped in diagonal ridges, carved by hand so that no two furrows fall alike; the grooves catch and release the light as the hand moves, giving weight and rhythm to a form that seems to have grown rather than been made.
