Warm and unexpected. The Palmi in Light Violet occupies the register between lavender and amethyst a tonality that shifts with the quality of light, never quite settling on a single hue. Against white walls it reads as pale and ethereal; against dark interiors it deepens toward plum. The Light Violet base with a Clear cap creates the most refined combination: the two layers of crystal create a chromatic depth that is impossible to achieve with pigment. With a Yellow or Turquoise cap, the contrast is bolder and more graphic. Hand-blown from crystal in Italy. The combination of this colour and the material's optical properties the way it refracts and distributes light makes the Palmi Light Violet the most gem-like piece in the series.
