Tall, dense, and mineral. The Solana in gray is a single-piece crystal vase of remarkable presence at H 50 cm, L 17 cm and 8 kg of pure lead crystal, it combines the verticality of the Amalfi with the physical weight of the collection's heaviest pieces, in a color that reads as quiet and structural. Gray crystal is not a neutral it is a tonality embedded in the crystal during the blowing process, shifting between warm greige and cool blue-grey depending on the quality of ambient light. Against white walls the Solana gray recedes; against darker surfaces it asserts itself fully. As a single-piece vase with no cap, the Solana gray has a simplified, direct presence. Its wide opening accepts architectural stems, dried compositions, or a single tall branch. At 8 kg, it is physically grounding in any space it occupies. Each crystal is mouth-blown into an original cast iron mould from a historic Italian glassware workshop active since 1945 each shape comes to life through a single breath,  crystal glass, European fine crystal standard EN 69, the same specification as Baccarat and Waterford.
