The most poised contrast in the Tello Green series. The deep emerald green of the crystal Capitello base is topped with the frosted Nuvola Clear globe a pairing where the saturated botanical colour of the base and the pale, even opacity of the frosted sphere create a precise warm-cool, vivid-quiet opposition.
When lit, the green base glows from within while the Clear globe above diffuses the light into a soft, even sphere. The two light qualities the vivid, directional glow from the crystal column and the diffuse, even emanation from the frosted globe complement rather than compete. By day, the combination reads as a study in contrast: the vivid emerald of the base against the pale white of the frosted glass. At night, the same contrast persists in the quality of the light each element produces. H 27 cm, 1.5 kg of pure 24% lead crystal. Globe detaches; green base becomes a vase.
