Form as gesture. The Teulada Curve in pink is a crystal vase whose defining characteristic is a curved, asymmetric profile the body bends and flows rather than sitting upright, giving the piece a sense of arrested motion, as if the crystal were caught mid-pour. At H 24.5 cm, L 19.5 cm and 2 kg of pure lead crystal, the Teulada Curve has a physical solidity that contrasts with the dynamic quality of its form the weight of the crystal grounds what the shape suggests might float. In pink crystal, the curved form has a particularly soft and organic quality, the rose crystal amplifying the flowing line of the vase. A sculptural object as much as a functional vase the Teulada Curve works as a decorative piece even without flowers, its form standing on its own. A single stem, bent to follow the arc of the crystal body, creates a composed still-life with the object. Each crystal is mouth-blown into an original cast iron mould from a historic Italian glassware workshop active since 1945 each shape comes to life through a single breath. · Material: crystal glass — European standard EN 69· Technique: Hand-blown, mouth-blown into original cast iron moulds (workshop active since 1945)· Structure: Single piece, curved/asymmetric form· Dimensions: H 24.5 cm, L 19.5 cm· Weight: 2 kg of pure crystal· Color: Pink· Workshop: Tuscany — Italy· Collection: Cristallo Vases — Studio Bojola
