Named for the wind that arrives from the west. The Ponente carries the same foundational principle as all the Cristallo Barware pieces: that a glass is not simply a container, but an object that changes the quality of what it holds. Hand-engraved in Italy, the Ponente's pattern translates the gesture of the engraver's hand directly onto the surface of the crystal. In clear optical glass, the engraving catches light at an angle that makes it appear to shift as the glass moves. A component of a complete table — or a single object of merit.
