Grey and clear the most minimal version of the Tello Grey. The smoky lead crystal of the Capitello base beneath the transparent ribbed dome of the Piccolo Clear creates a lamp that is almost monochromatic in its restraint: the grey and the clear both recede, and what remains is the architecture of the engraved surfaces and the quality of the light they produce.
The ribbing of the Piccolo Clear shade and the engraving of the grey base share the same formal language both structures fragment and distribute light, just in different directions. The Piccolo Clear casts fine lines downward; the grey base projects them outward across the room.
At H 21.5 cm the most compact configuration the Tello Grey + Piccolo Clear is the ideal lamp where subtlety is the priority. Strong in minimalist and Scandinavian-influenced interiors. Modular: shade lifts, base becomes a grey crystal vase.
