The most architecturally distinctive form in the collection. The Palmaria's two-piece structure is unlike any other vase in the range instead of a rounded cap sitting on a vase body, the Palmaria stacks two rounded crystal spheres of different sizes, one atop the other, creating a binocular or snowman-like stacked form. In amber crystal, the stacked form has a warm, totemic quality two spheres of glowing crystal, one larger below and one smaller above. In cobalt blue, the deep saturated colour makes the stacked form read as highly graphic and contemporary. At H 29 cm, diam. 16 cm and 3.5 kg of pure crystal. Each crystal is mouth-blown into an original cast iron mould from a historic Italian glassware workshop active since 1945 each shape comes to life through a single breath.
