One of the most versatile forms in the collection. The Maratea is a compact, well-proportioned two-piece vase in crystal at H 27 cm and diam. 19 cm, it has a balanced relationship between height and width that makes it a natural centrepiece object. The Maratea is available in four colours Light Violet, Clear, Pink, and Amber giving it the widest palette of the non-Cefalù vases. In light violet, the form has a particularly refined quality: the pale lavender of crystal is soft enough to feel intimate, present enough to anchor a composition. At 2 kg, it is easy to handle and position. The rounded cap lifts to reveal the vase opening and functions independently. Each crystal is mouth-blown into an original cast iron mould from a historic Italian glassware workshop active since 1945 each shape comes to life through a single breath.
