The most refined pairing in the Nina series. The warm clear column of the Nina base glows from within while the Nuvola Iced Clear globe above it diffuses the light into a soft, even sphere the frosted surface of the globe eliminating the visible bulb and replacing it with a luminous, lantern-like quality.
The contrast between the transparency of the amber crystal below and the opacity of the frosted globe above creates a layered effect: a warm, amber glow emanating from the column, and a soft, neutral white light from the globe. Two light sources, two qualities, one object.
At H 33 cm and 2.5 kg of pure 24% lead crystal, the Nuvola Iced Clear is slightly taller on the Nina base than the other small-shade combinations, giving this configuration a more elongated, elegant proportion. The globe detaches; the base becomes a vase.
