The most unexpected combination in the collection and one of the most beautiful. The deep emerald green of the Tello base and the warm rose of the Nuvola Pink globe are complementary rather than contrasting colours: the green brings out the warmth in the pink; the pink brings out the depth in the green.
The combination has a distinctly botanical and feminine quality the kind of colour pairing found in a garden at dusk, in Mediterranean ceramic tradition, or in the colour sensibility of contemporary Italian interiors that favour the unexpected over the safe.
When lit, the pink globe casts a soft rose glow onto the green base, which absorbs and transforms it. The effect is warmer and more complex than either colour alone would produce. H 27 cm, 1.5 kg of pure 24% lead crystal. Globe detaches; green base becomes a vase.
