The most sophisticated chromatic contrast in the Tello series. The smoky grey of the lead crystal Capitello base a cool, slightly ambiguous tone that reads between warm grey and pale blue depending on the light is topped with the wide, structured dome of the Grande Amber shade, whose warm golden slats cast amber light downward onto the cool grey crystal below.
The contrast between the grey base and the amber shade creates a composition that is simultaneously warm and cool, golden above and mineral below a pairing that works precisely because neither element is neutral. The engraved surface of the grey base catches the amber light diffused through the shade and distributes it as fine lines of gold across surrounding surfaces.
At H 26 cm and 3.5 kg of pure 24% lead crystal, the Tello Grey + Grande Amber is a compact, substantial lamp with a wide presence. Modular: shade lifts, grey base becomes a distinctive flower vase.
