The most transparent version of the grey Tello. The Nuvola Clear globe hand-blown into an organic, slightly irregular sphere sits over the grey Capitello base and transmits light directly, making the bulb visible through the clear glass and creating a warm, focused glow above the cool grey crystal column.
In this combination, the grey base reads most clearly as a material: the smoky translucency of the lead crystal is most visible when the globe above it is transparent and the light passes through both crystal elements simultaneously.
A lamp that shows its materials both the quality of the grey crystal and the hand-blown irregularity of the clear globe are visible and legible. H 27 cm, 1.5 kg of pure 24% lead crystal. Globe detaches; base becomes a vase.
